The existence of such hotels is very important for refreshing our memory concerning our history and concerning the architecture style of some historical buildings as the one where Magna Grecia is located which is a building of 1900 of Ernst Tsiller with high ceilings and sculptured by hand! The rooms are very spacy with antique furniture, smooth light and all comforts! I have never slept in a more comfortable bed as the one in Magna Grecia hotel! Fully cocomat linen equipied!

The Magna Grecia Boutique Hotel played a big part in our wonderful stay in Athens. Getting to the hotel from the airport is a breeze because the hotel is conveniently located down the street from the Metro stop for Syntagma Square. The room was exactly as advertised. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. What made the hotel great were the people. The hotel staff and owner were very gracious and always willing to help. The frontdesk person, worried

I came to Athens in need of a hotel and was very fortunate to end up at the Magna Grecia. The price is unbeatable for a beautiful facility with wonderful historic character and a very pleasant staff. The rooftop view of the Acropolis is incredible, day and night. The rooms are charming and clean. You certainly feel like you are getting the best of the Greek experience in accomodations that are GREEK. If I ever return, I'll to this place again. Thank you....My only regret is that I had to leave s

We just returned from 4 nights at the Magna Grecia, my husband, 16 yr old daughter and myself. We stayed in a triple room and it was very spacious. We had a wonderful experience thanks to Stelios, his Dad, Maria and the staff. The hotel is beautiful and the best location in the Plaka. A wonderful little hotel with a personal touch. Great roof top also! I highly recommend anyone stay there. Thanks to everyone at the Magne Grecia!

My wife and I were delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at this fine hotel. Our stay set the tone for our month long honeymoon. The staff was so in tune with our needs and the hospitality was second to none. The breakfast is very good as well. Just book a room any room and then enjoy the terrace with a bottle of wine. Or ouzo if you prefer!

Just returned from Greece and had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at the Magna Grecia. What a wonderful small hotel. Everyone is so helpful. I had a single room with a balcony view of the cathedral. I had plenty of room and you are right in the heart of the Plaka. Just enough of everything you need and if you feel you lack something, just ask and they shall get it for you. Maria is the most helpful front end person I have found in all of Greece. She generally likes people and it shows in all sh

Thank you all for making our honeymoon stay in your hotel for my wife and I incredibly enjoyable. Without a doubt, I would I recommend the Magna Grecia to my family and friends. Thank you to Stelios for helping me with the reservations, Maria with her kind hospitality with dinner plans and the taxi service, and Vasilio with the good airport-ride conversation and the mouth watering recipes. The accomodations were lovely and comfortable, and we look forward to coming back someday...

The hotel was very well placed, the Acropolis could be seen from the balcony of our room, and again was just a short walk away. All in all, it is ideally placed for the major attractions and tourist areas. The room itself was large (deluxe room), with a very comfortable bed and good pillows. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in the vicinity of the Plaka.

So lucky i could stay in the Magna Grecia as i just walked-in. Thank you Stelios for the arrangement of the room. The room is large, with comfortable bed and pillows. The decoration is stylish. But most fascinating is i could see the Acropolis from my room. I would recommend everyone to choose this hotel when visit Athens.

You are in a perfect spot, re shopping, restaurants and the view of the Acropolis is unbelievable (from the 3rd floor balconybreakfast area. )The staff were very helpful. The staff were very helpful (especially Maria at the front desk) and the breakfast was prepared fresh every day on the third floor with yogurt, eggs, toast, fruit, and wonderful fresh (squeezed yourself) OJ! And you could spend time up on the third floor all day and night..open 24 hours and the view at night of the Acropolis was awesome.
The two of us stayed at Magna Grecia from May 20-23 and were very pleased. The hotel is in a perfect location, (edge of the Plaka), and our room with an Acropolis view was beautiful. The room was fairly large and very clean. We had no complaints. Stelios and the desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast provided in the roof top dining area was very good. A great small hotel.

My husband and I stayed here in July 2009 and what can I say it was brilliant. The location was perfect close to the acropolis and Ermou. The rooms were perfect nice big bathroom great size room and the view of the acropolis was beautiful from the room. Breakfast was good. Overall this hotel was one of the top 3 hotels that we stayed at and if we were to come again we would stay with you again. Keep up the good work.

Stayed at the Magna Grecia overnight in September - wonderful experience! Had the suite on the top floor with great view of the Acropolis. Extremely comfortable bed, warm and helpful staff. Will definitely rebook.
We were very pleased with the both the facilities and the staff at the Magna Grecia Hotel in Athens. Euaggelia, and in fact every member of staff that we dealt with at the Hotel, was pleasant, informative and accommodating. The facilities were first class and we very much appreciated the offer to be upgraded into the Acropolis Panorama Suite when it became available for a small increase in costs. We would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent hotel in an ideal location in Athens.
We found fine hospitality at the Magna Grecia four nights in September. The location was perfect. Opening our window onto the Mitropoli plaza or sitting on the rooftop terrace we listened to the sounds of life on the plaza below and watched the changing light on the Acropolis above. The rooms were clean and quiet, particularly the back room. On the front side, the heavy windows closed off the noise of the street. Breakfast was great, thanks to the sweet hostess in charge, and we enjoyed picnic suppers several evenings enjoying the lights on the Parthenon after dark. We began our Greek holiday
